Non fate finta di non conoscere il fenomeno: l’avrete visto scorrendo il feed di Facebook oppure fra le vostre notifiche, quando quella vostra conoscenza ha elencato i suoi dieci libri preferiti per poi invitare altri utenti a fare altrettanto, nella formula della catena di Sant’Antonio riproposta in salsa “social” dall’Ice Bucket Challenge. Ebbene, anche quelli di Facebook si sono accorti del fenomeno e hanno stilato la loro classifica dei libri preferiti dai loro utenti, ovvero i titoli più citati, le 20 opere più ricorrenti.
Per farlo hanno preso in esame 130 mila status in cui comparivano le parole “best books” (solo quelli in lingua inglese, quindi) rivelando però dei particolari demografici interessanti: il 63,7% degli aggiornamenti sono arrivati dagli Usa, il 9,3% dall’India, il 6,3% dalla Gran Bretagna; il rapporto registrato tra femmine e maschi è 3,1:1.
